5 March 2010 – Orient-Express today announced that Thomas Noll has resigned from his position as regional managing director, Russia, with immediate effect. After ten years in Russia, five of them at the Grand Hotel Europe, Thomas wants to take time out to spend with his young family.
During Thomas Noll’s tenure, the Grand Hotel Europe has been extensively renovated, service standards raised to meet those of the Leading Hotels of the World and financial results greatly improved.
Yulia Pashkovskaya, executive assistant manager, will act as general manager in the interim.
